Ian Townley

Ian brings a unique blend of industry knowledge and personality to the table, starting out in the real estate industry off the back of a lengthy career in the financial services industry as an accredited mortgage consultant, and owner and operator of a financial services practice.

With insight into the background of a property purchase and the residential mortgage application process, Ian offers buyers and vendors alike a wealth of knowledge at the most critical stage of a deal and manages to do so in a practical and straightforward manner.

He and his partner in life and business ils live in Parkinson and have been married for 20+ years. They have two daughters Coco and Kiki, Romeo the cat and Bella the dog. As a team the synergy between ils and ian is a perfect blend of super marketing and sales skills.

Ian’s talent for marketing is no coincidence; in fact, it’s the result of years spent working in sports marketing with some of Australia's elite athletes and sporting associations. Highlights of this period include;

and is author of the book 'Sports Sponsorship, Promotion & Marketing' for the Victorian government department of Youth, Sport & Recreation. Personality marketing has included such greats as Greg Chappell, Dennis Lillee, Rod Marsh, Jeff Thompson, Graham Yallop to name a few.

As an athlete Ian has representated Australia in Taekwondo (World & Asian Championships), Gridiron & Pistol Shooting along with numerous state teams. He currently holds Black Belt gradings in 5 martial arts.

Some famous people he met along the way include HRH Queen Elizabeth, Sir Don Bradman, Prince Philip, Malcolm Fraser, Kiss, Joe Cocker, Don McLean, Peter Brock, Allan Moffatt, Charlton Heston, 'Starsky & Hutch' and Farrah Fawcett.

Together, ian and his partner ils are motivated to the core and channel their energy to best focus their time on the critical areas of buyer management, sales negotiation and the marketing strategy for every property they list.
